A: Yes, when the adhesive and process are adapted. This 35 gsm polyester article uses double dot hot rolling, which applies and sets the adhesive without the pressure spikes that leave marks on leather, PU and coated surfaces.
Q2: Why is black the standard colour for leather coat interlining?
A: Blacked-out interlining avoids any chance of a light edge showing at an open seam, collar roll or vent on dark leather. Because leather cannot be re-dyed after fusing, colour consistency is more critical than on woven apparel.
Q3: What fusing settings protect the leather surface?
A: Use lower pressure and a protective press cloth, and keep the temperature within the adhesive activation range rather than the leather's heat limit. Always test on an offcut, since finished leather and PU react differently to heat.
